The client

Adur and Worthing Council were looking for innovative ways to support residents with council tax arrears, temporary housing and social prescribing. We partnered with them for several years on various projects including: Going Local, their One Stop team and their Proactive Team.

What we did:

We sent digital wellbeing checks to groups of residents that may be experiencing vulnerabilities either because they’d requested certain services such as housing advice, or had council tax arrears or were in certain council tax bands. In some cases the council team followed up with residents after they had completed the digital wellbeing check and in other projects TellJO followed up with a prevention call to further support the resident.

User feedback:
I wanted to talk about the initial phone call between us. I was so very stressed and suicidal that day. You really listened to me explain my situation. Your kind, calm voice reassured me that you would do your very best to help me. The offer of being able to contact you any time also soothed and comforted me. When the phone call ended, I really did feel in a much better place.
