DebtManagers aim to make a positive difference throughout New Zealand, giving everyone the chance to feel financial certainty and confidence. Founded on principles of fairness, trust and respect their social values align with our mission to make the world a fairer place, helping organisations to understand reasons for non-payment to build long-term resilience in customers. We’re delighted to welcome them as our first international customer.
TellJO’s digital wellbeing checks will be sent to DebtManagers customers. They’ll be used to understand the root causes of their financial hardship and to provide better service and outcomes.
It’s not a simple case of signing our first international customer and hitting send. To ensure those in debt in New Zealand get the very best support, we’ve updated the entire wellbeing check, ensuring support pathways and signposted services and are relevant and tailored for customers in New Zealand. And we’ll do the same for any new customer we work with outside of the UK (and we continually update the UK version too).
TellJO is committed to the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (see our 2023 report here) so far in our work towards Goal 1 – End Poverty in all it’s forms everywhere we’ve been able to support 80,000 people in the UK with a wellbeing check and deliver over 500,000 signposts to support services for financial, physical and mental health needs. We’ve also been able to help users save over £16,000 on water bills with Southern Water, as well as help thousands of customers register for water companies Priority Services Register.
Working with DebtManagers we’re looking forward to seeing what positive outcomes we can create for customers in New Zealand.
